Mission Fleet is a group of Sailing Missionaries who live aboard their sailboats and embrace a life at sea to enjoy God by loving people.
Our mission is to take the Gospel by sea to unreached and under-served people groups. Mission Fleet is uniquely equipped to serve where others might not be able to, and to fill the unique ministry niche afforded to sailors on the high seas.
· Spreading the Gospel and serving people in need
· Planting house churches in places where the Gospel is scarce
· Making disciples of new believers
· Running relief missions and bringing aid to badly effected areas by situations like natural disasters
· Sending our own disciples as live-aboard missionaries to unreached peoples
· Providing the means for other missionaries to penetrate
· Serving the persecuted church in hostile areas
God is the ultimate ministry leader. And He leads His sons and daughters by His Spirit. As live-aboard missionaries we rely on God to guide us where He has ordained us to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
"And when Paul had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go on into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them."
Serious prayer always accompanies our decision making when it comes to choosing our destinations. Not only where to go and preach the Gospel but also the places God desires us to avoid. It is our desire to follow the Spirit of God in all things.
"And they went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia."
Our utmost goal as ambassadors for Jesus Christ is to glorify God by feeling Joy in God and in preaching the Gospel, which is, salvation in Jesus Christ alone by being united to him in His death, burial and resurrection; made into a new creation. This Gospel is what we proclaim to whomever the Lord Jesus sends us to.
"Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; for he who has died is freed from sin."
